Above is the breakfast that welcomed me to Father's Day! It is so great to be a father and be acknowledged for it. Alex with a little bit of help from Carmina pulled together breakfast and cold coffee - yummy!
The plan for the day was to sail over to Guana Key and attend the Sunday Pig Roast Buffet / beach party. There wasn't much wind so, we motor sailed most of the way, but we arrived on schedule at noon, and headed directly to Nipper's - about a 10 minute walk. We went for a swim in the bar, salt water pool and had lunch, but the real treat was the beach! We went snorkeling and body surfing. On the way back, we had probably the best sail of the entire trip. I'm glad that happened with everyone on-board. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the day's story ....
Jo and Rey invited us over for a little Filipino dinner. Everyone thought Alex was just so awesome, they took him under their wing and taught him how to play Mah Jong. I told the players at the beginning of the game that Alex would probably have beginners luck, and I was right! He one the whole series!
